What is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing imperfections in the clear coat of a vehicle's paint. These imperfections include swirl marks, scratches, and paint etching caused by bird droppings, tree sap, etc. This is a labor intensive procedure composed of a multi-step process with the use of micro-abrasives such as compounds and polishes along with a polishing machine. A trained technician using proper buffing techniques will polish (buff) your car's paint in order to achieve great results. The first stage which is the compounding stage will remove/diminish the paint imperfections. Then the second phase is a polishing step to refine the shiny appearance to your car's paint. Vehicles with heavier imperfections may also require some wet sanding to achieve this near perfect finish.
